Designed by Gora, a specialist in professional fire equipment, the Spiked Contact Staff features six threaded inserts (3+3), allowing it to be instantly transformed into a dragonstaff for much wider visual effects.

The body is made from 7075 aluminium alloy, offering exceptional durability while keeping the weight optimized for a perfectly balanced momentum—essential for rolls, throws and advanced contact techniques. The SuperGrip© handle provides a soft and reliable non-slip grip, even when wet or sweaty. The spikes, identical to those used in Gora fire hoops, increase inertia and can be removed or reinstalled based on your style.

The fire spikes are the same as those used on Gora’s fire hula hoops. They slightly slow down rotation, add extra inertia, and can be removed or reinstalled at any time. High-temperature silicone protectors help reduce the risk of burns, even in case of handling errors.

• Install or remove the spikes depending on the momentum and rolling speed you want.
• To switch to dragonstaff mode, screw three additional fireheads onto each side using the threaded inserts.
• Locate the balance point to optimize rolls, isolations and precise spinning.
• Before lighting, ensure all fireheads are secure, clean and properly fueled.
• Use appropriate fuels such as paraffin, lamp oil, Fire Water or Isopar K.
• Light the staff away from crowds and practice only in a clear, open area.
• After your session, let the equipment cool fully, wipe off residue, and inspect all components before storing.
