Apply 2 × 10 ml lamp oil to the Kevlar rope with the included syringe.
Never soak the felt.
Wet the top felt area 5–10 minutes before performing.

Add a small amount of lighter fluid to the Kevlar right before going on stage.
Ignite carefully using a long lighter or torch.

Keep your head upright—never look downward with the burning hat.
